Grammy Nominations 2025: Full List of Nominees

Must read

The nominees for the 67th Grammy Awards will be announced this morning, Nov. 8.

Several major categories will be revealed on a special live-streaming starting at 10:45 a.m. ET/7:45 p.m. PT. Several past Grammy winners are slated to appear, including last year’s Best New Artist winner Victoria Monét, Mark Ronson, Kylie Minogue, Brandy Clark, and Kirk Franklin.

The eligibility period for the 2025 Grammys began on Sept. 16, 2023, and ended Aug. 30, 2024, a period that includes several major releases such as Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter, Billie Eilish’s Hit Me Hard and Soft, Taylor Swift’s The Tortured Poets Department, Ariana Grande’s Eternal Sunshine, Shaboozey’s Where I’ve Been, Isn’t Where I’m Going, Chappell Roan’s The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess, and Sabrina Carpenter’s Short n’ Sweet.

Last month, Rolling Stone shared our nominee predictions for the 2025 Grammys in several categories, including the major prizes: Album, Song, and Record of the Year, as well as Best New Artist. There are also predictions for genre categories like Best Rock Album, Progressive R&B Album, Americana Album, Latin Rock or Alternative Album, Música Urbana Album, Rap Song and Album, and Country Song and Album.

The Recording Academy made a handful of adjustments to the Big Four categories this year, reducing the number of potential nominees from 10 to eight. It also tweaked some of its rules to contend with the rise of AI technology in music and debuted three new categories: Best African Music Performance, Best Pop Dance Recording, and Best Alternative Jazz Album.

The 2025 Grammys are scheduled to take place Feb. 2, 2025, at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
