What I Like About the Ouai Detox Shampoo

I don’t know what I love more about the Ouai Detox Shampoo: the results or the heavenly scent. After using it several times, it easily became a staple in my hair-care routine. The shampoo effectively cleanses any excess oil and dry-shampoo buildup. Yet it does not compromise on being gentle on my scalp and hair.

Whenever I feel like my scalp needs a deep cleanse, whether it’s from using too much product and hairspray or as a pick-me-up exfoliation treatment, it’s the only product I turn to for a quick refresh and revamp. After blow-drying my hair, I noticed that my roots were a little more lifted and voluminous, and my scalp felt lighter, cleaner, and refreshed. My hair looked shinier and healthier as well, probably due to the apple cider vinegar in the formula.

Plus, the scent is incredibly divine and luxe. I sometimes take a moment to myself and inhale the scent while showering, even when I don’t need to wash my hair. The Ouai Detox Shampoo is floral and fruity but in a layered, perfumey way. It has the iconic Melrose fragrance, which has notes of rose bergamot, lychee, cedarwood, and white musk.
