Does Taylor Swift Have Piercings?

Taylor Swift is currently on the European leg of her record-smashing “The Eras Tour,” and much like each segment of the show, which pays homage to her different musical eras, every album rollout has seen her switching aesthetics up to align with that particular LP thematically. For instance, her 2017 release “Reputation” saw her transition to medium-length natural curls and dark lipsticks following the choppy, short bob in honor of “1989,” while the 2020 sister surprise albums, “Folklore” and “Evermore,” got Swift channeling her cottage-core, wooden fairy persona. Ever since entering her bejeweled era for her tenth studio album “Midnights,” Swift has shown a proclivity toward wearing statement jewelry. While Swift’s opinions on tattoos were made up a long time ago, there’s one form of body art that she’s been loving lately — ear piercings.

Grammy-winning multi-hyphenate is no stranger to trend-setting transitions. We’ve seen it with her smooth genre shift from country to pop, her unprecedented master rerecordings, and her beauty and hair look over the years. Being the powerhouse she is, the singer-songwriter is constantly evolving (and outdoing herself) in every aspect imaginable.

Many eagle-eyed fans noted that the “Fortnight” singer had gotten three new lobe piercings — two in the right ear and one in the left — during one of her tour stops in August 2023. Before this, she only had one traditional lower lobe piercing on each side. However, that did not stop her from serving iconic accessory combinations to complement some of her memorable red carpet looks. For instance, at the 2019 Billboard Women in Music, Swift stunned in Ana Khouri clip-on cuff earrings that extended up to form a faux helix piercing.

These latest additions bring Swift’s ear piercings to five to three love piercings in her left ear and two standard lobe piercings in her right ear. While the superstar loves adorning her helix with gorgeous jewels, it appears that she hasn’t gotten it pierced yet. Considering how often she’s spotted wearing temporary earcuffs on either side, it may only be a matter of time before Swift actually gets it pierced, too.

So, there you have it. Swift currently has a total of five ear piercings, and we can’t wait to see how she continues to expand her collection.
