Singer’s first trek in five years will now conclude in NYC after tour’s final seven shows removed from schedule
A month after Jennifer Lopez announced her first North American tour in five years, the singer has quietly canceled a handful of shows from the This Is Me… Now trek.
Ticket buyers of the final seven shows of the tour — in Cleveland, Nashville, Raleigh, Atlanta, Tampa, New Orleans, and Houston, a stretch of dates that ran from August 20 to August 31 — were notified of the cancelation recently, with no explanation as to why the shows were suddenly nixed.
Each of the shows’ Ticketmaster page was also taken down and replaced with the message, “Unfortunately, the Event Organizer has had to cancel your event. No action is required to obtain a refund.”
While Lopez and Live Nation haven’t commented on the matter, according to EW, a “logistical issue through the promoter” is the cause for the cancelations, and the shows could potentially be rescheduled; however, for now, they were canceled straight away in order to refund the customers.
As it stands now, Lopez’s This Is Me… Now Tour will come to an end following a two-night stand at her native New York City’s Madison Square Garden on August 16 and 17. See Lopez’s updated itinerary below, and click here for info on how to buy tickets to the concerts that are still happening.
