Grupo Firme is ready for more desmadre.

On Monday, the música Mexicana superstar group fronted by Eduin Caz announced that they will bring their La Última Peda Tour to the U.S. this summer. The tour’s title, which roughly translates to The Last Drunken Party, seems to imply a farewell.

However, a LiveNation spokesperson confirms to Rolling Stone that the tour is not a farewell, and its title is more a play on the feeling of a hangover when you promise not to drink again.

Speculation about a goodbye from the “Ya Supérame” band arose after frontman Eduin Caz announced last summer that he was retiring. He later retracted the decision, apologizing to his bandmates and he returned to touring in December.

The group will begin their tour across the U.S. on Mexican Mother’s Day, May 10, at San Antonio’s Frost Bank Center, before stopping in Miami, Tampa, Newark, and Nashville through August. The group will continue their run of shows through late October, before wrapping the tour at Los Angeles’ BMO Stadium.

Tickets for the tour go on sale to the general public on Friday, March 22 at 10 a.m. local time. Fans with Citi presale access can begin acquiring tickets starting March 19.

The group’s tours have made headlines in the past — they sold out seven back-to-back shows at Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena, and they were also the first banda act to perform on Coachella’s mainstage. They were additionally the first Mexican music performers to announce a third show at Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium.

Grupo Firme is here doing stadiums. I hope there’s another group that comes and does what we did,” Caz told Rolling Stone in 2022. “Que llegue el que tenga que llegar.”

Grupo Firme have consistently dropped live covers with other artists, including El Coyote y Su Banda Tierra Santa, Banda Carnaval, and La Arrolladora Banda el Limón. Their last album, Puras Pa’ Pistear, dropped in 2022.
